Many of our children get addicted to watching TVs, playing video games and playing multimedia devices.
Under the influence of these devices, they spend most of the time inside the house without even stepping outside. Needless to say, this adversely affects their physical, mental and social development.
Since kids are not mature enough to regulate use of these multimedia devices on their own, we as parents must take more responsibility and guide them in proper usage of multimedia devices to lead a balanced life.
It is best to start guiding children at a young age when they are teachable. Once children grow to teenage level, it could be too late.
Once children are freed from the addiction to multimedia devices, there will be tremendous progress in their total development.
